Bryan Schellberg Successfully Proposes

Bryan Schellberg, graduate student of both Drs. Abigail and Ryan Koppes, successfully defended his research proposal this past May. This defense earned him the title of “PhD Candidate”! We all look forward to watching Bryan’s work unfold as he fulfills his proposed research goals.

Dr. Koppes Wins NIH Grant
Dr. Koppes, in a combined effort with Dr. Rebecca Carrier of Northeastern and Dr. Linda Griffith of MIT, received a $5M NIH Bioengineering Research Partnership Grant for a submission called, “GuMI: New In Vitro Platforms to Parse the Human Gut Epithelial-Microbiome-Immune Axis.”
